WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US
It all started from the pits. Their journey through the track has inspired us in our mission to race for all.
“Path to the Pits has quickly developed a platform that I passionately believe in - opening young eyes to what is possible for women in motorsports and opening doors to real opportunities. I am so impressed and inspired by the young women I have met, and their eagerness to absorb information and learn. Path to the Pits is demonstrating that women do belong in motorsports, and these young women can achieve their dream jobs!”
Kristin Labonte
President, Breaking Limits
“P2P gave me an incredible introduction to all facets of motorsport, helping me understand the industry from the inside out. This experience, along with guidance from the program, provided an opportunity that led to me becoming a part of the iconic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca team, where I’ve been able to learn and grow even further. Thanks to Path to the Pits, I’m building my dream career in motorsports.”

“I would like to say thank you, I really did not think I had a shot in motorsports at all until I did the Path to the Pits program at IMS. That meeting inspired me to pursue my dream seriously and apply for positions I would have never thought of applying to before. Can't wait to see where you go in 2024!”

“I would first like to take this opportunity to thank you all, the P2P team and Mr. and Mrs. Muela for giving me this life changing experience. l am from the Caribbean, specifically, Trinidad and Tobago. To the outsiders, it is an awe inspiring place to be born, but to me, there are some cultural norms that hinder young, West Indian women’s chances to work in male dominating industries, the motorsport industry for example. My dream ever since, is to be an engine performance engineer for a motorsport and or a racing team hence majoring in mechanical engineering hoping to do my masters in automotive engineering. I am looking forward to what the Path 2 Pits team has to offer in this mentorship program.”
Alliyah Ali
Florida International University
“HUGE thank you for the whole experience today! It was absolutely amazing, and I know the rest of my team thinks so as well... P2P is such an awesome opportunity for a school like Long Beach State, a school that is compared to most as an affordable option. Therefore, we get a great diversity of students who don't necessarily have the opportunities that more expensive schools offer.”
Kyle Streuter
Past President, Society of Automotive Engineers
California State University, Long Beach
“Because of P2P, I’ve been able to build a portfolio of images that’s led to me shooting content from Pikes Peak for Hyundai’s factory outfit to King of the Hammers for a two week race in the desert.”
